All children will be engaged in a thoughtful and enriching play-based curriculum that allows them the opportunities to explore through inquiry, interactions, problem solving, imagination, and fun, whilst developing a sense of the world around them.
We provide an environment which is positive, inviting, engaging, and has a diverse range of experiences that promote children’s learning and development.
All curriculum decision making is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. Educators recognise that families are children’s first and most influential teachers. We believe learning outcomes are achieved when early childhood educators work in partnership with families.
Children learn and develop a range of skills at their own pace and through their own interests which forms an important basis for our curriculum decision making.
Educators use an ongoing cycle of observations, analysing learning, planning, implementation, and reflection to ensure they work towards the outcome of the approved learning framework, and to ensure each child’s interests and strengths are the focus, to further support their development.
Children’s learning is made visible on the interactive OWNA app through observations, learning stories, snapshots, photos, and videos.
